What can I add to a family record?
You can add people, relationships, photos, stories, places, contact details, and optional family-health notes.
How do I join a family?
Use an invitation code from a family member. Depending on how the invite was created, approval may happen automatically or require a family admin.
Who can see family information?
Access depends on family membership, admin permissions, and each profile’s privacy settings.
What can family admins manage?
Admins can manage the family record, invitations, profiles, relationships, joined users, and admin roles. Legatree protects families from removing their last admin.
Is family data sold or shared?
Family data is never sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Your family is the sole authority of your data.
Is Health DNA medical advice?
No. Health DNA is for optional family-history notes only. It is not a diagnosis, treatment tool, clinical record, or emergency service. This feature is coming soon.
Can I explore Legatree before signing up?
Yes. You can explore the sample Montague and Windsor families through the demo. Creating or joining your own family requires an account.
Can I export my family tree?
Yes. Tree Export provides a customizable print-ready PDF of your family tree suitable for keepsakes, reunions, and family records.
How do I request deletion or help with my data?
Use Settings to request account deletion or a data-handling review.
